I'm depressed.

Was just browsing the web and came across this amazing 3D artist who makes my work look like a kindergarten kid scratching on paper with a broken crayon.

I have to keep telling myself I have been doing this as a job for a little over a year. He is a veteran with 10+ years experience. That makes me feel a little better, but not much. Man I just wish I had 2 more hours everyday to work on projects. I'm very grateful for the opportunities I have here at the MPS but frankly the work just hasn't been too exciting lately. Right now I am pushing around little boxes shaped like houses to fill the city with. Woohoo. I saw Walle and thought to myself, man I want to work on something cool.

Whimper..........

Your day will come!

Plus you are very talented, Andy. You have an amazing eye for detail and what is aesthetically pleasing. So just keep going! One day, someone will look at your work and think the same thing you thought about that other guy's work.

Yes, I feel the same way about writing. Although sometimes it's the other way around. There's a lot of poorly written crap out there.

Oh so true, and why is it those people are usually the ones that get paid big bucks.
